Notes: First, thanks to tree00faery for beta-ing! I probably forgot some of your suggestions, but I did keep them in mind as much as possible.

Second, this is at is base a Beauty and the Beast story, and AU. How much is a bit hard to explain, but Sophia was never aboard the Silvana, Alex has a slightly different function and a rather different 'crew', and Disith isn't across the skies - it's across the mountain range. Other than that, I'll try and explain it over the course of the story.
