Somehow, I think the wrong answer to somebody telling you that they hate themselves and blame themselves for everything that goes even the slightest bit wrong is to laugh at them.

There's really something to be said for needing to watch the child grow up to understand them (as a son/daughter, that is). Some make really good friends but I have yet to see more than a few rare cases where they make good parents. It doesn't help that I loathe her parenting technique with her own children. It's not what she uses with me, but... meh.

35 days! Less, really, because just dad and I are driving out to Ohio, so. :)
